It All Starts with Good Intentions!
Hello Neighbors,
My name is Michael Good. I am an Air Force veteran, entrepreneur, and founder of GIVS Incorporated, a nonprofit organization serving the Leavenworth community through food assistance, mentorship, reentry support, youth programs, and community outreach.
Since founding GIVS in 2024, we have worked to make a positive impact throughout our community. Through food giveaways, family-focused events, mentorship opportunities, and support for individuals rebuilding their lives, we’ve been blessed to help hundreds of local residents. What started as a simple desire to give back has grown into a mission that continues to touch lives across Leavenworth.
Today, we have an opportunity to take the next step.
GIVS has identified a larger location at 209 N. 5th Street in Leavenworth that would allow us to establish the future GIVS Community Resource Center. This space would provide room for expanded food assistance programs, a clothing closet, fatherhood mentoring, workforce development activities, community meetings, and reentry support services.
Our immediate goal is to raise $3,500 to cover the security deposit, first month’s rent, moving expenses, and startup costs needed to secure the facility.
We’ve already received support from generous donors and have raised $150 toward our goal. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps move us closer to creating a permanent home for service, support, and opportunity in Leavenworth.

We Need Volunteers
GIVS Inc. asks you to join and help those in need. It may be physically challenged citizens, veterans, or children from low-income and large families.
The volunteers' mission is to give donations to a particular people of our choice in need. So anyone interested in helping our foundation can see for themselves that the donations are used as intended.
If our mission resonates with you, we are glad to welcome you to the GIVS Inc. community.
We highly appreciate the volunteers who constantly help us change our citizen's lives for the better.
No matter if they’ve been working with us for a long time or if they are newcomers, the GIVS Inc. volunteers are responsible people with an open heart ready to help and support those in need anytime.
Ethics
Our staff and volunteers are responsible and of high moral character. They work according to principles of legality, humanity, and respect for human rights.
Transparency
Any donator (whether it's a person or organization) can contact our staff and get a full report on the money donated. Fund's administrative expenses are borne by the board of trustees.
